Third Party
Following on Devastator, it is safe to say that it's only a matter of time before all the great Transformers gestalts will get the 3P make-over. TFC Toys moves ahead to other combiners with a new teaser image just posted for their upcoming homage. The name, Project Uranus, is not very descriptive, but it don't take but a second to see this is NOT Superion. The image of the silhouetted figures revealed at Botcon has been updated with a blurry image of what we think is their version of Slingshot.

Prime
Thanks to Tformers sponsor Robot Kingdom who have shared some new looks at the in-package image of the Transformers Prime EZ Collection action figures. Get a look the EZ-11 Ironhide and EZ-12 Dreadwing on the card wth shots of the front and back. Check out the images of the figures after the jump for all the details.

Third Party
We know what you are thinking. You are posing (or playing - we do not judge) your Transformers Prime Voyager Optimus Prime figure and you think, "man, I really want those battle blades he had in the show! Those were awesome!" Well, it seems Dr. Wu heard those cries all around the world, and has created a pair of show-accurate battle blades! Date and pricepoints are not yet available, but we will let you know when we do!

Prime
Ken Christiansen, whose previous work includes Luxoflux's Transformers Revenge of the Fallen The Game and some pre-pre-concept artwork for Transformers Prime has now revealed some concept art for Transformers Prime Ironhide! While many were bummed he was not on the show, the character has received a Cyberverse Commander figure, out this month. Continue reading...

Third Party
After a long silence, FansProject has returned to the custom scene with a reveal of their work: Warbot WB-002 Steel Core. The figure is the second entry in their line of the Warbot line that was kicked off with WB-001 Defender way back in March 2010. A teaser was posted on Facebook and a full illustration reveal of the figure was revealed on their FansProject Core website. The Core site does state that they are attempting to bring out some exclusives to the Core members. There is not a release date or price point, but until then, enjoy the images.

Generation 1 Japan
Takara Tomy and Kabaya are continuing their candy partnership by releasing a new EZ Collection Gum series, consisting of repaints of Legion, or Legends, as they used to be called. The whole set of five has been revealed and they include G2 Optimus Prime (1), Hot Rodimus (2), Prowl (3), G2 Megatron (4), and Starscream (5). These are set for a July 30, 2012 release.Take a look at the series after the jump.

Collectors Club
Fun Publications has also released a clear look at the artwork for Depth Charge, the Transformers Collectors Club incentive figure for next year. This is the same artwork that was shown during the club panel at BotCon 2012 where Fun Publications also announced their subscription service. The figure uses the Transformers Hunt For the Decepticons Terradive mold, and the organizers joked that Depth Charge went on a bit of a diet this go around when compared to his Beast Wars counterpart.

Generations
Hasbro has dished out official views of Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Voyager Soundwave and his repainted counterpart Soundblaster. Soundwave's design is essentially a larger version of his design from the previous Transformers War for Cybertron video game. The new feature with this mold, though, is that instead of cassettes, each figure will come with a disc, which may be launched from the chest and will transform upon impact. Soundwave and Soundblaster can store up to three discs at a given time. Take a look at the figures in the gallery, and see additional angles of Soundwave in our BotCon 2012 galleries.

Prime
The Transformers Facebook Page has posted new official images of the upcoming Transformers Prime Deluxe Wave 4 Dead End, Airachnid, and Shadow Strike Bumblebee; and Wave 5 Sgt Kup and Rumble. Each of these figures were shown at BotCon 2012, but only wave 4 figures were in the display cases after the Hasbro panel. Look for Wave 4 starting in August 2012 for $14.99 each and Wave 5 hitting stores later in the year.

Prime
Takara Tomy has updated their Transformers Prime website with official images of their Arms Micron AM-10 Bulkhead and AM-11 Arcee figures, along with their Microns. These figures are set for a release sometime this month.

Third Party
TFC Toys has shown off their upcoming Iron Army figures, the Power Core Combiners third party limbs. Just like the Hasbro versions, these these limbs can be used on all figures, as it is showcased on Power Core Combiners figures Bombshock and Heavytread bodies. The figures were announced back in November 2011 and were showcased this past weekend at BotCon 2012. The figures are split up into Set A German Tiger-I Tank and U.S. P-51 Mustang plan; and Set B Japanese J7 Shinden plane and Russian T-34 tank, with TFC teasing that there will be others in the future. These sets are due for a late May release.

One of the highlights of BotCon has always been the dealer room and this year is not any different. With fans and collectors alike running around the floor trying to hunt down that one toy that they have been looking for, this is the place to be. This year, we saw quite a lot of cool stuff, with Takara Tomy's Masterpiece MP-11 Starscream selling out at various dealers within an hour or so into the preview, shops with Transformers First Edition figures getting swamped, and more. Take a walk with us in the gallery in the full article!
