Here are some images of the Transformers Optimus Prime Maquette that was on display at the Sideshow booth at 2010 SDCC. Get a look at this 20 inch super detailed statue of Optimus Prime from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie. This figure was announced last year. Pre-orders are slated to open in August 2010.

The brand is looking forward to the debut of the new, original "Transformers Prime" animated series coming to The Hub cable television network this fall and is also celebrating the launch of the global Hunt For The Decepticons promotion and recent release of the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game from Activision. Additionally, the Transformers brand is welcoming Alex Irvine, author of the new novel, Transformers: Exodus, to the Hasbro booth for a one hour autograph signing session starting at 11:00am on Saturday, July 24.

Get a first look at the Generation 1 reissue out of the box with the cassettes and more than meets the BLASTER! We've snapped a bunch of pics of this cool little guy that SDCC attendees will be able to buy at the show. HTS will have this figure for sale right after convention. Thanks to s250, we have our first looks of a blue repaint of Transformers: Cybertron Megatron out of the plastic packaging, which we first saw earlier this week. According to s250, the figure is named Cindersaur, but that is unconfirmed at this point. When we first learned of the figure, it was rumored at a BotCon 2010 exclusive figure, but that is also unconfirmed. We will let you know when we learn more, though. Until then, enjoy the images.
Thanks to KOToys, we have a nice gallery of the BotCon 2010 Redux box set exclusive Breakdown. The Universe 2.0 Sideswipe redeco is sure to give many fans a color view of the mold. The figure is part of the five figure box set, including Streetwise, Sky-Byte, Spark, and Clench.

With Auto Assembly 2010 officially starting tomorrow in Birmingham, England some of the guest and attendees have already arrived. These include Derrick J Wyatt, Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster who's appearance at Europe's largest Transformers Convention were funded by the guys from Transformers @ Moon. Auto Assembly has just announced that Saturday tickets are now available again. Due to the demand, and so no one misses out, this is being done by them taking all remaining weekend tickets and making them "flexible" so that going on just the Saturday is now an option. Also announced were certain booking deadlines are now extended, and the competitions that will be going on during the event just by having booked your pass and having your ticket number.
