We are just back from an exclusive preview with the people from Activision and High Moon Studio covering the Transformers: War For Cybertron game. Tformers was there with High Moon Studio's Game Director Matt Tieger on hand to get a first hand look at the new game. We've got a ton new details and information on the game. Transformers Movie
Kevin Dunn, who played the role Ron Witwicky in Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is currently in negotiations to reprise his role in Transformers 3, reports the Hollywood Reporter. THR mistakenly cites Mr. Dunn as having played the role of his son Sam Witwicky, portrayed by Shia LaBeouf. Mr. Dunn is slated to appear in Tony Scott's Unstoppable.

War for Cybertron

We checked in with IDW about the Amazon pre-order for a Drift paperback due this November. Details are few, but we can confirm that there is an upcoming Drift mini-series, according to Amazon Penned by Shane McCarthy and Alex Milne. Think what you may of Drift, that's a winning team. We also inquired about the pre-order for Transformers Animated: The Adventure Continues. This series is a re-launch of IDW's Transformer Animated series, featuring stories from Season 3!


Transformers Movie
Repaints, you either love them or hate them. Judging by the number of N.E.S.T Global Alliance set warming the shelves at my local Targets, there ain't much love for this guy or is it just too much hassle? Thanks to YouTube member Asimo5001 who has posted a review the Canadian TRU Exclusive Recon Ravage action figure for us to see.

Thanks to "Oracle1984" of the IDW Publishing forums, we have some release dates of Transformers title trade paperbacks from IDW Publishing in the last quarter of the year for 2010 and the first quarter of 2011. Some highlights include Transformers Animated: The Adventure Continues! (September 21, 2010), featuring stories from the third season of the television series, Transformers: Drift (November 10, 2010), and collections of various comics of Grimlock and Starscream with Best of Grimlock (December 8, 2010) and Best of Starscream (January 5, 2011), respectively. With IDW Publishing-created character getting his own figure this Fall, it only makes sense that this was coming. According to Amazon.com, a 102-page book titled Transformers: Drift will be released on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 by IDW Publishing by Shane McCarthy and Lee Ferguson. Mr. McCarthy created the Drift character in his All Hail Megatron maxi-series last year. Read more.

Thanks to AllSpark's "Monocle", we have information that the most recent issue of Brand Week magazine is showcasing a rather interesting character that we didn't expect to see: Bumblebee! Peeking from behind The Hub logo, is Bumblebee from the upcoming Transformers: Prime cartoon! The design is very much based on the live-action Transformers films but with some variations. Read more.

The Japanese toy magazine features some looks at figures releases coming soon including ROTF Human Alliance Mudflap, MP-03G Starscream Ghost Version, Disney Label Monochrome Donald Duck, Transformers Animated Japan, as well as the special edition EZ Collection figures.

Animated fans, rejoice! A slew of new Transformers: Animated literature has just come up for pre-order! First The Allspark Almanac Vol.2, the second installment of the comprehensive guide to the TF:Animated universe, featuring pics and info from Season 3! Next up for order is Transformers Animated Omnibus Vol.1 collecting the first four volumes of the comic adaptations of the Animated show. Last up is Transformers Animated: The Adventure Continues the first installment of IDW's comic adaption of Animated Season 3.

War for Cybertron
We are just a few months away from the release of the all new Transformers video game, War For Cybertron. Game Trailers Television have posted a new episode featuring an overview of the latest greatest games. Chapter 2: Prime and Prejudice features some new footage followed by an interview by Geoff Keighley with the High Moon Studio's Game Director - Matt Tieger. They talk about the game and give us some interesting reveals on what should be the greatest Transformers game EVER!

Animated Japan
Taobao seller bleach has posted our first look at one of the Transformers Animated Japan action figures in the packaging. The image gives us a look at what the Japan edition Shockwave will look like in it's box. The new Animated Japan action figures will be released on April 24, 2010 in Japan only. Get a look at the Shockwave box in the meantime.

Transformers Movie
Japanese Transformers fans don't need to feel left out. TakaraTomy has updated their official Transformers product site with the Hasbro produced N.E.S.T. Cyber Missions that we all know and love, NOT. Takara has posted the first clip with the next coming to Japan on March 19th. Check out the videos now with Japanese sub-titles at takaratomy.co.jp.

Generation 1 Japan
Thanks to Happinet who has posted some big new official images featuring the Takara Tomy device lable action figure Broad Blast, AKA Blaster in the G1 series. This robot has been slated for release, than canceled and then announced for release again by Toshiba here in the United States. Look for this action figure to be release in May 2010.
